You don't need to know someone's life story to find a gift that fits. Sometimes having just enough information leads to better, more surprising picks.
What if I don't like the gift suggestions?
If the picks don't feel right, you can adjust your answers and try again in the results page. The more specific you are about the person, the more accurate the results. And because Pebble learns from every interaction, the recommendations improve over time. Your reactions help teach the model what works.
How it works?
How does Pebble know what gifts to recommend?
Pebble uses data psychology to determine which gifts suit which people. The answers you provide about the person you're buying for - such as their interests, your relationship, the occasion, their personality, and their values - shape every recommendation. Pebble also constantly learns: your reactions to gifts teach the system what works for different profiles. This means that each time you return, the selections become even better.
Are the gift recommendations personalised?
Every set of results is different because every person is different. Pebble doesn't pull from a fixed gift guide or show the same popular items to everyone. The picks are shaped entirely by what you tell Pip about the person, so two people buying for different friends on the same occasion will see completely different results.
What brands and products does Pebble recommend?
Right now, Pebble recommends gifts from brands stocked on Amazon, which means a wide range of products across every price point and category. We're working on expanding into other retailers and experience providers, including small and independent businesses. The goal is to give you the best possible picks, wherever they come from.

What is Pebble Gifts?
Pebble is a free Gift Helper that finds thoughtful gift ideas based on the person you're buying for. You answer a few questions about them: what they're into, what the occasion is, what your relationship is like, and Pip, our penguin, returns with 5 suggestions, each with an explanation of why it suits. The name comes from something penguins genuinely do in the wild: they search entire beaches to find one perfect pebble to give to the one they love. That's the whole idea behind what we built.
How does the Pebble Gift Helper work?
You start by telling Pip (our penguin) about the person you're buying for. Who are they to you, what are they into, what's the occasion, and some psychology-led questions. Pip takes those answers and comes back with 5 gift picks, each with an explanation of why it suits that person. No two results are the same because the answers are highly personalised based on what you've told Pip. The whole process takes about 2 minutes, and you don't need to create an account.
Who is Pip?
Pip is a penguin and lies at the core of everything Pebble does. In the wild, penguins search along entire beaches to find a single perfect pebble to gift to their loved one. Pip does something similar: it takes what you share about the person you're buying for and finds suitable gifts, explaining why each one fits. Pip is truly committed to getting it just right.

How much does Pebble cost?
Pebble is completely free to use. There's no subscription, no sign-up, and no hidden fees. Pebble makes a small commission when you buy a gift through one of our recommendations, at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you find the gift through Pebble or on your own.
Is Pebble Gifts free?
Yes, absolutely. The Gift Helper is free. You don't need to create an account, hand over your email, or sign up for anything. Just answer a few questions and Pip does the rest. Pebble makes a small commission when you buy a gift through one of our recommendations, at no extra cost to you.
Does Pebble sell gifts directly?
Pebble doesn't sell anything directly. When you find a pick you like, you click through to buy it from the retailer. Pebble earns a small commission from the retailer, which is how the service stays free for you. The price you see is the same as buying direct.
Privacy and trust
Do I need to create an account to use Pebble?
No. You can use the Gift Helper straight away without signing up, creating an account, or giving your email address. Just answer Pip's questions and get your picks.We'll will only collect your e-mail address if you subscribe to our newsletter or send yourself gift recommendations.
Is my data safe with Pebble?
Pebble takes your privacy seriously. The information you share about the person you're buying for is used only to generate gift recommendations. Does Pebble share my information with retailers?
No. When you click through to buy a gift, the retailer only knows you arrived from a link - they don't receive any of the information you shared with Pip about the person you're buying for. Your personal gifting data stays with Pebble.

Who owns Pebble Gifts?
Pebble Gifts is a startup founded and owned by Vanja Ljevar and Vaida McNeill. They built Pebble because they believed gifting deserved better tools, and that finding the right gift shouldn't take hours of scrolling and second-guessing. They truly believe that gifts have power to strengthen relationships with people, so each gift pick has a strong Why reasoning embedded into the results.
